A Waverly man was injured in a collision with a semi Wednesday in Floyd County. The crash was reported just after 9:15 Wednesday morning at the intersection of Highway 218 and Lancer Avenue west of Floyd. 45 year old Brian Wrage was northbound in his pickup when he failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by a semi driven by 33 year old Craig Riffey of Baraboo, Wisconsin, according to the Iowa State Patrol. Wrage was taken by ambulance to the Floyd County Medical Center. The Patrol says his life was saved because he was wearing his seat belt. The collision remains under investigation at this time.
