In a week when a tornado hit the Waverly area, this weekend’s Heritage Days festivities put a positive end to a scary week. Thousands of people came to Waverly for events like concerts, the parade, fireworks and the fly-in pancake breakfast. Waverly will not have much down time as it plays host to the Bremer County Fair, which begins Sunday and goes through Saturday, July 31st.
