Thursday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock baseball team’s 14 game winning streak was snapped as Crestwood beat them 7-3. The Go-Hawks committed six errors in the loss.
Waverly-Shell Rock will be back in action Friday and Saturday at the Prange Classic. Friday they play Class 2A #1 ranked Van Meter and Saturday they’ll play Ballard.
Thursday we learned that the Waverly-Shell Rock softball team will face Charles City on July 8th to begin the Regional Tournament.
