A Waterloo woman has been arrested after allegedly threatening to blow up a house, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police responded to the victim’s home on Mohawk Street around 7:30 Tuesday evening. They found all the burners to the stove on and a plastic spatula on the stove was on fire. After the fire was extinguished, police found the victim hiding in the basement. They were unharmed. 31 year old Ruth Gee was arrested and charged with first degree Harassment. Her bond was set at $2,000.
