Bremer County has moved back down to what’s considered moderate transmission risk for coronavirus. The county positivity rate is back down to 14% and 15% is the top end of the moderate risk bracket.
Two weeks ago Wartburg College was driving the county’s rates up but Bremer County Health Department administrator Lindley Sharp says that is no longer the case.
COVID-19 cases at Wartburg College have dropped dramatically. On September 4th the college had 65 current positive cases. As of today the college has 15 current positives. As a whole Bremer County has 185 current positive cases.
