The city of Waverly has decided between two bidders for the old Red Fox Inn.
On a 4-2 vote 1859 Ventures LLC won the bid and will turn the East building into a residential building while keeping the front structure a hotel and convention center.
The losing bid was from Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community who planned to keep the hotel and use the East building as a retirement community.
