The Northeast Iowa Food Bank and the Waverly Shell Rock United Way have joined many of the churches in Bremer County to coordinate some food assistance for residents of Bremer County. This is designed to help those who may be in need of food at this time. Those people may call Redeemer Lutheran Church to schedule a pick up or delivery of a supplemental food box. The Bremer County Churches are also helping those who can afford prescriptions, groceries or other necessities but can’t get to the store due to the coronavirus containment effort. Those people are asked to contact the Redeemer office to set up delivery.
