Soash Discusses Cost of Proposed Ball Fields

As discussions on new baseball diamonds near the soccer complex in Waverly progresses forward, those in charge of Champions Ridge insist they are still confident of getting diamonds there. According to Mayor Dean Soash the Champions Ridge project would cost around $3.5 million to excavate and other work to prep the area for above ground work.

He tells us what it would cost to get the site by the soccer complex ready for diamonds.

Soash says kids could be playing on diamonds at the location next to the soccer complex by 2022.
