The Obama Administration has made a disaster declaration for 19 counties in Iowa, including Black Hawk, Butler, Bremer, Chickasaw and Floyd, that will allow federal funds to be used in recovery.
Bremer County Emergency Management Director Kip Ladage tells us how this money will be used.
FEMA says additional designations may be made at a later date if requested by the state and warranted by the results of further damage assessments.
