Waverly Oktoberfest will be held this Friday and Saturday in Kohlmann Park. The family friendly event will feature live music, food and beverage garden including Iowa craft beers, and fun and games for the whole family. The festivities will run from 4pm to 11:30pm on Friday and from 11am to midnight on Saturday. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for teens and Wartburg students with a student ID, and kids 12 and under are free. Tickets will be available at the gate. Oktoberfest also means a road closure, starting Tuesday 1st Street will be closed from 1st Avenue North to 4th Avenue.
