After three attempts, a bond issue for construction and renovations was passed Tuesday, April 5 by Cedar Falls Community Schools’ voters.
The $32 million measure received 4,910 “yes” votes to 2,993 “no” votes, passing with 62.13% of ballots cast. At least 60% of those voting had to approve the bond issue for it to pass. District property owners will see an increase in their tax bills to repay the bonds.
