An Oelwein woman has been arrested for stealing beer cans from a bar in Auburn. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was called to Hooty’s Bar on a report of several bags of beer cans being stolen. An investigation allegedly determined that 45 year old Flora Epley had taken the cans and cashed them in at a redemption center in Calmar. Epley has been charged with 5th degree Theft and Driving While License Suspended.
