According to the Chief of Police, they were called to the 100 block of West Prospect Street Saturday at 8:00 p.m. after following through with a search warrant.
Police found several marijuana pipes, packaging material to distribute the drug, a scale, a makeshift shotgun, nearly $4,500 worth of of marijuana, and $2,444 in cash and stated that this was a substantial bust for a town of nearly 1,400 people.
24 year old Gage Johnson of Clarksville was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance as his second offense, Possession of a Controlled Substance for being less than 1000 feet from a school, and more.
Johnson was charged, arrested, and was released from jail at $13,000 bond.
Nick Wessels was also present when they executed the search warrant, and he was charged as well.
Wessels is being held on $1,500 bond, and he’s still being held in the Butler County Jail.
