A motorcycle crash leaves one man dead.
Police say Thomas Houdek, age 23 of Charles City was driving on Highway 18 pulling on to Highway 218 northbound when he was hit by a semi, driven by Joshua Brood of Plainfield.
Houdek was pronounced dead at the scene, and Brood was airlifted to Mason City for his injuries.
The investigation is on going. No charges have been filed
