Man Arrested for Gun Theft

A Waterloo man has been charged with theft of a firearm from a federally licensed firearms dealer and possession of a firearm by a drug user, according to KWWL. 18 year old Dalyn Culp is accused of stealing a Smith and Wesson 9mm pistol from a dealer back in February. He was also allegedly using marijuana at the time. Culp could face up to 20 years in prison, a fine of up to $500,000 and up to 6 years of supervised release if convicted on all charges. He is currently being held without bond. He will go to trial on October 26th.
