Milk Consumption Down

A recent report says that milk consumption has gone down in recent years which could mean trouble for a state known for its agriculture. ISU Extension and Outreach Dairy Field Specialist Jenn Bentley describes why milk consumption has waned.

According to the Department of Agriculture the average person in the US drinks 18 gallons of milk a year, down from around 30 gallons of milk a year in the 1970s.
