There will be an informational meeting held on Monday at 7:00 p.m. regarding the proposed Summit Carbon pipeline. This meeting will provide an update on legislation that has been passed through both the Iowa House and Senate. Any interested people in Bremer, Butler, and Floyd Counties are invited to the meeting that will be held at Heritage Global Methodist Church on Highway 3 between Waverly and Shell Rock. The meeting will be presented by landowners, the Conservation Coordinator at the Iowa Chapter of the Sierra Club, Jess Mazour, and local legislators.
