On Wednesday, June 4th the entire town of Readlyn will be without power beginning at 8:00 a.m. for required maintenance work. The electric will be off for up to eight hours. If the weather does not allow for the work to be done on Wednesday, it will be moved to Thursday. Those that need internet in order to work from home can contact RTC Communications, who are willing to provide the space and internet connection. Readlyn EMS is offering space and power for those that are oxygen dependent and their caregivers. Their station will be open and their generator will be running. They say bring your concentrator, any medications needed, a sack lunch, and some snacks.
