Officers are surrounded an Evansdale home on 3rd Avenue where a man was inside with a gun.
Police say the man threatened an officer with the weapon. Some homeowners were asked to leave their homes, while others were asked to stay.
No shots were fired and so far no injuries have been reported. Waterloo and Evansdale Police were on scene, along with Black Hawk County Sheriff Deputies.
