An Illinois teenager has been arrested for stealing a minivan and leading police on a high speed chase, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. A resident called police around 9:30 p.m. Sunday to report that his Toyota Sienna had been stolen after he left it running. An hour later police spotted the vehicle leaving the Legacy nightclub and heading into oncoming traffic. Police tried to stop the van but the driver fled at speeds that reached 110mph. The driver eventually lost control of the vehicle and rolled several times. He was taken into custody and identified as 18 year old Martavian McDowell of Crest Hill, Illinois. He was charged with Eluding and second degree Theft.
