According to radio reporter Darin Swenson, the Howard-Winneshiek School Board will hold a special meeting Wednesday afternoon. During the meeting the board will ask the superintendent to seek to have Crestwood leave the Northeast Iowa Conference to join the Upper Iowa Conference. If that happens along with Waverly-Shell Rock being forced out after this school year the Northeast Iowa Conference would be left with only Waukon, Charles City, New Hampton and Decorah.
