One day after the men’s team lost in the Final Four the South Carolina women hoisted the National Championship. The Gamecocks beat Mississippi State Sunday night 67-55. Many had Mississippi State as the favorite in last night’s game after they ended UCONN’s 111 game winning streak in the Final Four.
The men’s National Championship Game is Monday night in Phoenix, Arizona. Saturday night Gonzaga beat South Carolina 77-71 and North Carolina edged Oregon 77-76 to advance to tonight’s title game. The Bulldogs and Tar Heels will tip-off at 8:20 Monday night on CBS.
