UNI Defensive end Karter Schult of Tripoli has been named the FCS STATS Buck Buchanan Award Winner,.
Schult becomes the first player in UNI history to win the Buck Buchanan Award, given to the absolute best defensive player in FCS football. He is also the fourth student-athlete from the Missouri Valley Football Conference to receive the award.
