Saturday the Wartburg football season came to an end as the Knights lost to defending National Champions North Central. Wartburg was down 20-0 with 7:15 left to go in the first half before battling back to down 26-13 at halftime. Wartburg would roar back to take a 27-26 lead with 12:17 to go in the game before falling behind by 7 with 5:40 to go. Two fourth down stops late ending drives and the Knights’ season and sent North Central to the Stagg Bowl for the fourth season in a row.
