W-SR hosted the Go-Hawk Coed Invitational Track meet Thursday night, March 31. The Go-Hawk Girls finished 2nd behind New Hampton 122.5 to 113.5 and were led with first place finishes in the 100m Hurdles by Karlie Wosepka in 17.10, the Shuttle Hurdle Relay in 1:10.67, and Jordyn Shaw in the Discus with a throw of 106’9”. The girls will travel to Cedar Rapids for the J-Hawk Relays tomorrow at Kingston Stadium.
The Go-Hawk Boys finished in 4th place with 73 points behind Denver, Dike-New Hartford and Mason City which won with 111 points. The boys were led by multiple 2nd and 3rd place event finishes.
